In our latest release we’ve focused on getting an important feature built that will let users engage a lot more. It’s the number one feature request from the feedback forum and something we wanted to include on day one, but had to put off for a little while. We haven’t quite got all of the elements completely working, but we felt there was enough there to make it worth releasing early.
Browsing the site you can click on the Collect iconĀ
above any artwork you like and we add it to your favourites. If you visit your profile page, or click My Gallery at the top of the page you can see all your favourites arranged in order of most recent in a rough mosaic (or image quilt as we call it). You can create new, named collections and drag items from your favourites into them. Sharing your page will let friends browse all your collections.
We’re just polishing off more details and features around collections (including delete buttons and titles when you hover over each image) but thought this neat enough to start using now. Let us know what you think in the comments here, or using the feedback link on Artfinder.com
