Here at Artfinder we’ve told you about realistic portraiture artist Edward Sutcliffe before, but this time we’re giving him to you for free!

We are proud to announce the release of our new Edward Sutcliffe: Portraits iPad App now available to download from the iTunes store for absolutely no cost.

You may remember Edward from an interview we did with him a few months ago where we chatted with him about his style, his influences, and some of his future projects.

Our new App brings together Edward’s portraits, with each piece accompanied with a description from the artist. The App also comes with a brief biography written by Edward himself.

Edward most recently exhibited at the BP Portrait Award 2011 at the National Portrait Gallery where he showed his portrait of Glenda Jackson MP (who represents his own constituency of Hampstead and Kilburn).

Edward’s distinctive portrait garnered much attention and focused on capturing the former actress and two time Academy Award winner’s “humility and strength”.
