Following up from last month’s fantastic interview with street artist Remi Rough – admittedly designed to whet your appetites – Artfinder is proud (and justifiably excited) to announce the launch of our new iPad app, Remi Rough: Selected Paintings, downloadable now from iTunes.

Featuring insightful and biographical text by the artist’s close friends, the app focuses on a selection of high-resolution reproductions of Remi’s canvases and walls, complete with a sumptuous zoom function that allows you to get up close and intimate with the paintings’ brushwork and textures. It is a cascade of colour and unadulterated, innovative form.

In a further revelatory step, the app also contains never-before-seen video footage of Remi and fellow street artist System, at work on their recently completed 3 Kings wall, making this app a truly exceptional collector’s item.

If this has piqued your interest but lack of an iPad prevents you from immersing yourself fully, you can discover more about the illustrious art and career of one of Britain’s pre-eminent street artists by visiting his Artfinder page, perusing his online collection or, alternatively, viewing a sumptuous slideshow of his works. Also, stay tuned in to Artfinder for future competitions and the chance to win an iPad of your very own!

  1. The truly amazing leaders can be like the top conductors – they reach past the notes to reach the magic inside players.
Nothing so conclusively proves a gentleman’s power to lead others as what he is doing daily to lead himself.
